Book Review: No One Leaves the Castle by Christopher Healy

No One Leaves the Castle by Christopher Healy was such a fun middle grade fantasy read. This would make an enjoyable family or class read aloud–it’s magical, humorous and mysterious all at once. The story is a magical locked-room mystery that gave me similar vibes to Winterhouse and Monty Python combined. The kids are strong and taking care of business when the adults can’t seem to keep it together. It’s just delightful.

Thank you to @harperkids and @netgalley for the eARC. This publishes Aug 15 and would be a great addition to a family or classroom library.

About Me

Welcome! I started my career as a children’s librarian, later becoming a public library director and now I’m a stay at home mom. While my career might have changed, my love of reading has been a constant since I was in 4th grade, and I read over 200 books a year. I love talking about books and connecting readers of all ages with just the right book. Thanks for reading!
