Netgalley Catch Up: Time to Check In (May 2024)

In April, I posted my Catch Up Netgalley titles below and promised that at the end of May, I would post a check in and see how many I’ve read, if I’ve added any and what my feedback ratio is.

The recommended feedback ratio is 80%, and I’m sitting at 83% as of May 26th when I write this blog post. In April I was at 84% and yes I have added new titles! I can’t help myself!

Here are the titles that I posted in April and I still need to read:
(Please note, this is by no means a reflection on the quality of these books…I’m excited to read them. This is more a reflection of how I think I can read more than I really can!)

  • The Library by Bella Osborne Sep 02 2021
The Lost Van Gogh by Jonathan Santlofer Jan 02 2024
Disillusioned by Benjamin Herold Jan 23 2024
Once a Queen by Sarah Arthur Jan 30 2024
The Things We Didn’t Know by Elba Iris Pérez Feb 06 2024
When Grumpy Met Sunshine by Charlotte Stein Feb 06 2024
The Trouble with You by Ellen Feldman Feb 20 2024
The Girls We Sent Away by Meagan Church Mar 05 2024
The Lost Memories by Lorna Cook Mar 28 2024
The Wartime Book Club by Kate Thompson Apr 09 2024

Here are a few more that I need to catch up on:

  • Miss Morgan’s Book Brigade by Janet Skeslien Charles Apr 30 2024
Love You, Mean It by Jilly Gagnon Apr 30 2024
Tomorrow Is for the Brave by Kelly Bowen May 14 2024
The Shadow of War by Jeff Shaara May 14 2024
Every Time We Say Goodbye by Natalie Jenner May 14 2024
Malibu Summer by Libby Gill May 21 2024

Here are the Netgalley titles I DID read and review in late April/May 2024:

  • Far From Home by T A Williams
The Last Hope by Susan Elia MacNeal
Every Time I Go on Vacation, Someone Dies by Catherine Mack
A Body at the Dance Hall by Marty Wingate
Old Girls Behaving Badly by Kate Galley
Can’t Spell Treason Without Tea by Rebecca Thorne
Summers at the Saint by Mary Kay Andrews
Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano
Rhythm and Clues by Olivia Blacke
A Murder Most French by Colleen Cambridge

Whew! I hate when I can’t get to everything and I read between 25-30 books a month! I have lots of these already published ones on request on audio from the library and have worked several into my June TBR. I’m posting this not to shame myself or anyone for their Negalley ratio, but as a way to provide accountability to myself.

About Me

Welcome! I started my career as a children’s librarian, later becoming a public library director and now I’m a stay at home mom. While my career might have changed, my love of reading has been a constant since I was in 4th grade, and I read over 200 books a year. I love talking about books and connecting readers of all ages with just the right book. Thanks for reading!
