Top Ten Tuesday on a Wednesday: The Ten Most Recent Additions to My Book Collection (OR TBR)

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday (on a Wednesday) topic is focusing on the most recent additions to my book collection or TBR. Here’s a list of ten books I am so excited to read – some I’ve purchased or pre ordered and many I have on old at my local library. I would be lost without access to such a wonderful library system. Broke…I would also be very broke.

Onyx Storm (The Empyrean #3) by Rebecca Yarros (purchased)

Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry (preordered)

The Courting of Bristol Keats (The Courting of Bristol Keats #1) by Mary E. Pearson (purchased with a Christmas gift card)

It’s a Love Story by Annabel Monaghan (ARC via Netgalley)

Every Tom, Dick & Harry by Elinor Lipman (TBR, one of my favorite authors)

Solid Gold Murder (Golden Motel #2) by Ellen Byron (TBR, one of my favorite authors)

The Disengaged Teen: Helping Kids Learn Better, Feel Better, and Live Better by Jenny Anderson, Rebecca Winthrop (TBR, on hold with my library, read about this and it sounds great)

The Secret of Moonrise Manor by Stephanie Bearce (TBR, on hold with my library, read a review and I love middle grade mystery)

The Mayor of Maxwell Street by Avery Cunningham (TBR, suggested for our book club)

The Small and the Mighty: Twelve Unsung Americans Who Changed the Course of History, from the Founding to the Civil Rights Movement by Sharon McMahon (TBR, saw it on so many best books of 2024 lists)

About Me

Welcome! I started my career as a children’s librarian, later becoming a public library director and now I’m a stay at home mom. While my career might have changed, my love of reading has been a constant since I was in 4th grade, and I read over 200 books a year. I love talking about books and connecting readers of all ages with just the right book. Thanks for reading!
