đŸŸBOOK REVIEW: Frosted Frappe Felony, book 19 in the Killer Coffee cozy mystery series by Tonya Kappes

I’m so happy to share a review of Frosted Frappe Felony, book 19 in the Killer Coffee cozy mystery series by Tonya Kappes, available now! This series and latest entry is perfect for readers who love a community-centered amateur sleuth, coffee shop mysteries, and mysteries that unfold with clever clues and cozy charm.

It’s a snowy and bitterly cold weekend here in St. Louis, and I was absolutely delighted to escape to the small town of Honey Springs. I finished this in a day, curled under a warm blanket. Roxy Bloom’s Bean Hive Coffee Shop is the heart of the town and the cozy and delicious descriptions made me feel as if I were right there, snug in her shop.

However, it’s not long into the story when renovations to Roxy’s shop uncover a long-forgotten industrial freezer hidden in the walls. And it’s not just the freezer that surprises everyone, but what’s hidden inside reveals a long ago, unsolved mystery.

Roxy, being the perfect amateur sleuth (think Nancy Drew as an adult), can’t overlook this mystery that has been buried in her shop for years. Despite warnings and some nail biting danger, Roxy plunges in to uncover old secrets and murder.

Readers can’t go wrong with anything written by Tonya, and this latest entry to one of my favorites of her series does not disappoint. New to the series? Jump in now or go back to the start, either way creates an enjoyable reading experience.

While lots of clues point to the truth throughout the story, I found myself quickly clicking through my kindle to see just how it would all come to light and if Roxy would be safe!

This is a fast paced, delightfully cozy mystery. Grab it now!

About Me

Welcome! I started my career as a children’s librarian, later becoming a public library director and now I’m a stay at home mom. While my career might have changed, my love of reading has been a constant since I was in 4th grade, and I read over 200 books a year. I love talking about books and connecting readers of all ages with just the right book. Thanks for reading!
