My Review:
This first entry into a new cozy mystery series is so much fun! I read it in two days and was annoyed when I had to put it down to do work and chores!
The setting of Florida beachside is perfect for armchair travel (minus the murder). It would be a fun read during the summer if you’re stuck at home and wish you were somewhere with sun and sand.
Emma and Laura were great friends and Shelley captures that best friend energy wonderfully. I do love a good best friend story and these two sure jumped into the investigation with both feet!
The plot was clever and fast paced, with romance added in. I gave a lot of the side characters side eye as I considered them as suspects.
Looking so forward to book two!
