☕The Sunday Salon: April 12, 2026 🌷

Happy Sunday! Thanks to Deb Nance at Readerbuzz for hosting The Sunday Salon.

Weekly Reads Round Up

I have had zero sit down and read time this week! I finished audiobooks. I am still reading and loving The Spellshop.

What I’m Reading & Listening to Now:

Reading: The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst

Listening: The Market Girls of Petticoat Lane (Petticoat Lane #1) by Patricia McBride

Week in Review:

Monday was a lovely, restful day off and then the week took off from there! Our daughter was in tech week for a play at school, I had several after school meetings and then it was opening night on Thursday! All went well and we should have a few more quiet nights this coming week.

Looking Forward:

29.5 school days until summer break! Bring on the daytime reading.

About Me

Welcome! I started my career as a children’s librarian, later becoming a public library director and now I’m a stay at home mom. While my career might have changed, my love of reading has been a constant since I was in 4th grade, and I read over 200 books a year. I love talking about books and connecting readers of all ages with just the right book. Thanks for reading!
