Book Review: The Bitter Past: A Mystery by Bruce Borgos
I love a mystery that has a spy element and The Bitter Past: A Mystery by Bruce Borgos did not disappoint. Set in a small Nevada community, north of Las Vegas, this mystery features sheriff Porter Beck. It’s relatively quiet in Beck’s jurisdiction until an older, retired FBI agent is found brutally tortured and murdered.… Continue reading

Book Review: Take the Honey and Run by Jennie Marts
Jennie Marts’ debut cozy mystery, Take the Honey and Run (book 1 in A Bee Keeping Mystery) was seriously so much fun. Like any good cozy mystery there is a required amount of… Continue reading

About Me
Welcome! I started my career as a children’s librarian, later becoming a public library director and now I’m a stay at home mom. While my career might have changed, my love of reading has been a constant since I was in 4th grade, and I read over 200 books a year. I love talking about books and connecting readers of all ages with just the right book. Thanks for reading!
