A Merry Little Murder Plot (Library Lover’s Mystery #15)

My Review:

I love everything there is about this series. It’s my favorite book-themed cozy mystery series. I listened to this as I went about my pre-Christmas tasks and it made the to-do list sail along. It’s perfectly festive and includes some funny moments (the ugly sweater contest being a favorite). I loved that the mystery centered around authors. I had a teeny tiny guess at the culprit but loved putting all the details together with Lindsey and Sully.

What I’m Reading & Listening to Now:

Reading: Disillusioned: Five Families and the Unraveling of America’s Suburbs by Benjamin Herold

Listening: Under the Cocoon Moon (Olivia Penn Mysteries #3) by Kathleen Bailey

Week in Review: 

Whew! A whirlwind week with the holidays and my daughter’s birthday! We also managed to squeeze two doctor appointments in as well. I also picked up my new mono-vision contacts, which means one contact is for up close and one is for distance. I am testing them for a week and so far they are working so well!I even read a book without any cheaters! While it hasn’t been that cold, we haven’t seen the sun in days and I am really missing it. 

Here is a picture of the birthday cake we made my daughter – a team effort for sure!

Something I’m Looking Forward To:

My daughter and I are planning some outings to various bookstores, because what’s better than books on dreary cold days. I also started watching The Marlow Murder club on PBS so I am looking forward to more episodes.
