Weekly Reads Round Up: Favorite Read of the Week

Vengeance in Venice (A Jane Wunderly Mystery #7) by Erica Ruth Neubauer
At long last, Jane and Redvers have arrived in Venice, the famed city of love, for their honeymoon. But can these two actually go anywhere without helping to solve a murder? The answer is no, and for that I am so glad. I adore this historical mystery series – especially delightful on audio. I love to travel with this couple and they are the perfect pair. They know each other so well, and support each each other. This mystery had a more scandalous nature that others, but that didn’t stop this duo. Wonderful historical details made me feel like I was actually in Venice in the year 1927.
What I’m Reading & Listening to Now:

Reading: Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke
Listening: Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Fawcett (I am loving this and now really want to read the Emily Wilde series.)
Week in Review:
Pretty typical week, except it was book fair set up week at school. That brings back lots of memories. We have been so go-go-go that we decided that today would be our nothing day (I’m calling it my book day). So yesterday we worked and worked to get all the chores, errands and anything else that needed to be done. We were successful and wrapped it up with a dinner out as a family and then a movie and ice cream at home. I was in bed, sound asleep by 9pm. Today I plan to read, read, read.
Something I’m Looking Forward To:
24.5 school days until summer vacation! 5 weeks! I’m looking forward to seeing a production of Grease this coming Saturday with my daughter and then book club that Sunday.
