Book Review: I Pittie the Yule by Kathryn Mykel

I’m happy to share a review of a festive cozy mystery novella, I Pittie the Yule by Kathryn Mykel! “If you like fun and quirky holiday cozies, you’ll love this animal-sidekick mystery.”

Clocking in at 96 pages, this is the perfect one-sitting read when you’re needing a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. I sat by my Christmas tree and enjoyed my time with Rena Mulberry and her adorable one-eyed pit bull, Bruizer.

A local diva is found murdered and Rena’s boyfriend is the prime suspect. Rena knows that just can’t be the truth and dives in to find the true culprit. Great characters, a wonderful small town, a strong mystery and a fast pace make this such a fun read. I chuckled to myself and enjoyed the light romance sprinkled in. Well done!
