Weekly Reads Round Up: Favorite Read of the Week

I post reviews on Instagram and Goodreads. What have you read this week?

What I’m Reading & Listening to Now:

Reading: Dungeons and Drama (Dungeons and Drama #1) by Kristy Boyce

Listening: Betrayal at Blackthorn Park  (Evelyne Redfern #2) by Julia Kelly

Week in Review:

What a crazy week with a day off last Monday and snow days on Tuesday and Wednesday! By Thursday I was ready to leave the house and get back into some semblance of a routine. We had a fundraiser for our two middle schools Friday night and so with work, then set up and clean up, it was a long day, but a fun one. As I write this, the sun is shining and it is most welcome.

Something I’m Looking Forward To:

Today I’m having lunch with two friends, which I’ve been looking forward to all week! This week I am going with a friend to hear author Marie Benedict speak and we have another taekwondo test.

  2. I didn’t get out until yesterday and I still couldn’t get my car up our steep driveway. I’m hoping it melts enough to move the car this afternoon. Our neighbors are kind, but still, I don’t like leaving my car parked in front of their house.

  3. Dungeons and Drama sounds like fun!

I’m sorry it’s been so cold and dreary there. It’s good to know the sun is finally out. We are looking forward to finally seeing some sun tomorrow.

About Me

Welcome! I started my career as a children’s librarian, later becoming a public library director and now I’m a stay at home mom. While my career might have changed, my love of reading has been a constant since I was in 4th grade, and I read over 200 books a year. I love talking about books and connecting readers of all ages with just the right book. Thanks for reading!
