Listening: The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros
Week in Review:
Happy Daylight Savings! I love the result, but despise the adjustment!
Busy week with a sick day in the middle as my son had strep throat. We caught it early and with meds he recovered quickly.
Read Across America was so much fun at school. Kids brought it book character potatoes (google this, it’s a real thing and the cutest thing you have ever seen). I was blown away by the creativity and had so much fun seeing each entry – and we had over 200!
Add in a choir concert and volunteering at the middle school and the school week was a busy one.
It’s been a quiet weekend – I am hosting book club tonight so today is the extra cleaning for company which my family loves, ha! I also need to finish listening to our book (The Things We Leave Unfinished).
Something I’m Looking Forward To:
Spring Break! We have four days of school and then break starts Friday. We aren’t traveling this year, but we are all still looking forward to resting and relaxing. I have an enormous stack of books to consider for the week. Here’s to some day time reading!
