Revisiting Past Can’t Wait Wednesdays

I thought it would be fun to review the past few months of Can’t Wait Wednesday posts to see what I have actually read and what is still on my TBR. My TBR is so long and constantly growing so it is easy for things to get lost. This was a good reminder!

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Can’t Wait Wednesday Titles I Have Read:

Reviews are linked. I recommend almost all of these. The only title that didn’t work for me was Meet the Newmans, but I know others loved it.

Enormous Wings by Laurie Frankel

Meet the Newmans by Jennifer Niven

The Market Girls of Petticoat Lane by Patricia McBride

Vengeance in Venice (A Jane Wunderly Mystery) by Erica Ruth Neubauer

A Tour to Die For (The Serial Killer Guide to San Francisco Mysteries, #2) by Michelle Chouinard

Solid Gold Murder (A Golden Motel Mystery, #2) by Ellen Byron

Coastal Views to Die For (Oliver Popp’s Travel Guides to Murder #2) by Sam Lumley (Just read finished this yesterday and so enjoyed. My full review will be on Kings River Life later this month)

Can’t Wait Wednesday Titles I Have NOT Read:

Invasive Species by Ellery Adams (Horror/Fantasy, not my typical genre but I’ll follow Adams anywhere. I’m putting a note in my calendar to read this in fall)

The Forget-Me-Not Library by Heather Webber (Webber is such a great writer, it has the word library in the title and it has a 4.09 rating on goodreads! I just downloaded the audio.)

Wild Reverence (Letters of Enchantment #0) by Rebecca Ross (I adored book one in this series, Divine Rivals, and I know why I haven’t picked this up even though I have a galley – it’s 527 pages. Sometimes I let big books scare me, but summer is the perfect time.)

About Me

Welcome! I started my career as a children’s librarian, later becoming a public library director and now I’m a stay at home mom. While my career might have changed, my love of reading has been a constant since I was in 4th grade, and I read over 200 books a year. I love talking about books and connecting readers of all ages with just the right book. Thanks for reading!
