Life:
For a short week, it felt long. I love structure and routine, but getting back into those things is hard! And my daughter had a terrible sinus infection and ear infection at the start of the week and it was such a thing to hunt down her antibiotics!
And we’re back to driving around to activities and extra things. I was able to help my mom with a few things, and we got to eat lunch at our favorite pancake place. I was also able to grab a walk with a friend in the sunshine Friday morning and that was good for the soul.
3 Good Things:
We had a snowy Saturday and going outside in the wet and snow isn’t my favorite, but my son wanted to go together so I bundled up. We had such a nice time and made this lovely snowy friend. That night we had a crockpot soup, rolls and homemade chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips. It was perfectly cozy.

I am excited to get back into some writing projects and so I cleaned out my desk. It took three hours and involved several bags of trash, a bag to donate and lots of cleaning, but my goodness it looks so pretty and is now a lovely place to sit and work.
I found the coolest book at the library for my daughter: Musicals: The Definitive Illustrated Story by DK (Author), Elaine Paige. It was fun to see her pouring over a book. It is huge and very heavy!
