Weekly Reads Round Up: Favorite Read of the Week

Banana Ball: The Unbelievably True Story of the Savannah Bananas by Jesse Cole, Don Yaeger (With) – I was lucky enough to see the Savannah Bananas in STL in late August and I absolutely fell in love. I love a memoir mixed with a “process book” (tell me how something came about) and this was the perfect combination of both. It’s fascinating and inspiring and fun. And talk about a knock it out of the park work ethic! Highly recommend. 

What I’m Reading & Listening to Now:

Reading: The Egg and I (Betty MacDonald Memoirs #1) by Betty MacDonald

Listening: Hollowthorn (Ravenfall #2) by Kalyn Josephson

BIG Book Slow But Steady: A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3) by Sarah J. Maas (page 360 out of 699)

Week in Review: 

What a busy and fun week! It was a short work week with no school on Friday. I headed out of town on Friday to visit a college friend over the weekend. It was such a fun visit with beautiful weather–we even got to eat outside! We shopped and talked and talked. 

Something I’m Looking Forward To:

As much as I loved my visit, I am happy to be home with my family and pets. It’s a regular start of the week and then picture day and seeing my daughter’s friend in her school play on Thursday.
