Weekly Reads Round Up: Favorite Read of the Week

Receipts from the Bookshop: A Bookseller’s Year in an English Seaside Town by Katie Clapham – this is absolutely as delightful as it sounds and looks. It’s funny and thoughtful and makes me want to hop on a plane and go visit Katie. If you need a comfort read, grab this.
What I’m Reading & Listening to Now:

Reading: Mercury Raine: Ghost Broker (Mercury Raine #1) by Sarah M. Eden
Listening: Art Attack (The Sherlock Society #3) by James Ponti
Week in Review:
Wow! Who else is day after Halloween tired? So fun that it was on a Saturday night. Our daughter’s theater department arranged to get bins on wheels from the local food bank to collect canned goods last night, and everyone was so generous. Our son went to a friend’s house and has a pillowcase of candy. I loved seeing so many kiddos from school trick or treating. I wore my ghosts reading earrings and one younger student said “of course you would have ghosts reading on your ears, Mrs. Erwin.” Kids are so fun.
Something I’m Looking Forward To:
And as much I love a good holiday, I am excited to have a slower day. Tonight we are seeing the musical Boop, and we are also off school Monday and Tuesday. We have just a few appointments and of course voting. Friday includes an improv showcase at the high school.
