Last year, towards the end of October 2023, I had just finished Ravenfall by Kalyn Josephson.

My Review: 

Ravenfall by Kalyn Josephson was spooky, magical middle-grade fun. I kept trying to start this book when I only had a few minutes–take my advice: don’t do that. Finally last week, I had an afternoon where I could sink into this story and let the magic and mystery take me away. I wish I could think of what this is like? A little like Winterhouse, but with fantastical creatures, good and dark magic? Whatever we want to compare it to, it’s a wonderful combination that tells a great story and with some lovely found family themes. I will be picking up book two.
