Veronica Speedwell from the Veronica Speedwell Mystery Series  by Deanna Raybourn (Veronica is tough and sassy)

Jane Wunderly from the Jane Wunderly Mystery Series by Erica Ruth Neubauer (Jane is both brave and has a great sense of fun)

Maisie Dobbs from the Maisie Dobbs Mystery Series by Jacqueline Winspear (Maisie is amazingly patient)

Finlay Donovan from the Finlay Donovan Mystery Series by Elle Cosimano (Finlay would bring all the laughs you need when traveling)

Jen Dixon from the Class Mom Series by Laurie Gelman (Again with the laughs–nothing phases Jen)

Charlie Harris from the Cat in the Stacks Mystery Series by Miranda James (Charlie would bring class and the need for standard meal and rest times–two things I’m very fond of)

Tilly Pages from the Pages & Co Series by Anna James (In case vacation got boring, we could always bookwander)

Mabel Canning from London Ladies’ Murder Club Series by Marty Wingate (Mabel is both fiercely independent and kind to others and has a great sense of fun) 

Riley Thorn from the Riley Thorn Series by Lucy Score (Riley is one of the most fun characters and she’s a psychic – what more can you ask for?)
