Listening: Gull and Bones (Seaside Knitters Society #8) by Sally Goldenbaum

Week in Review: 

Wow, January came in with an attitude and it’s not letting up. Rough week over here with lots of little things going wrong and then my mom falling and needing surgery. It’s going to be a long road to recovery. And now we are snowed in with bitter bitter temps. I am sad I’m not getting to see my mom today, but the roads are terrible. Thank goodness we can check in on the phone. 

And then there’s the news–it’s just awful. 

About the only things I feel like this month has going for it are books and puzzles. 

One happy note – I loved my first knitting class, even though it was hard! 

Something I’m Looking Forward To:

I’m not in a great looking forward mood, however…I’d like to see my mom moved to a rehab facility so we can keep moving forward on recovery. We also don’t have any school on Friday…maybe we might have a snow day earlier in the week?!?
